Some of this info is useful. They also sell parts, fittings, etc for these compressors. The compressor I used is from an ‘87 Cherokee w/4.0L. The compressor from the jeep 2.5l engine is somewhat smaller, mine is the larger version and it fits absolutely fine. Either will work for you. Sanden model # 9564. (R-12 systems only, not R134a!) You can get yours from a Chrysler / Mopar dealer or from a junkyard for much cheaper! The Mopar part number is 53005752. Genuine Sanden air conditioning compressor, suitable for Saab 9-3 petrol models, 1998-2003. Sanden is the OE supplier to Saab. What this means is that this is exactly the same item that you would buy from Saab but because it comes from the manufacturer we can pass on the savings to you. Air conditioning compressors on the Saab 9-3 models are a common failure item.
